Why support HCA?
Holden Christian Academy seeks to be the Christian School of choice for the families in our area. To do this, we must deliver an educational experience that combines cutting-edge academics with a warm and nurturing learning environment. We strive to hire and retain experienced, certified teachers, and to maintain a safe and child-friendly facility. All of these efforts are supported by a great number of individuals and groups who share our passion for Christian education. We invite you to join in the support of our school through any of these giving opportunities.
Donations go toward enhancing HCA's educational programs, including the HCA Tuition Assistance Fund, which enables families to send their children to HCA who otherwise could not attend due to financial hardship, our nationally certified Nature Explore play space, and our Food for Life program as part of our re-accreditation with ACSI.

Trike-a-thon
Our students in Preschool and Kindergarten are asked to get friends and family to sponsor them for riding their bicycle, tricycle or scooter for 30 minutes. After riding, families enjoy a picnic lunch together and enjoy our Nature Explore Playspace.

Orphan Gift of Chocolate support (Christmas)
This money will be sent to our dear friend Olga at Spring of Revival to help buy a box of chocolate for a child at an orphanage in Belarus, which might be the only gift these orphans will receive.

(Read-a-thon) American Challenge!
During the month of February, students are asked to track their minutes of reading, and get sponsors and pledges. In 2023, we are adding additional early-American activities for the students to participate in.
This event has done wonders instilling a love of reading in even the most reluctant readers, and adds some fun to an otherwise dreary winter month. We offer prize incentives, have had Celebrity Readers come in and read to the students, hosted special visitors such as graphic design artists, and the top earners get a special treat!
