The foundational principle of our Arts program at HCA is that each child has been created to reflect God’s image in the world.  God himself is beautiful, and so we bear God’s beautiful image when we create beautiful things!  God also created each of us as a masterpiece with unique gifts and talents, so when we do the things he created us for, we are bearing his image to the world around us.  

At Holden Christian Academy, our students have the opportunity to explore Music, Visual Arts, and Theater in the safe context of a classroom environment.  Our dedicated staff are experts in their field, and bring the very best out of our students.  Students have all been given a body and a voice, and in Music and Theater class they are encouraged to use those instruments to worship the Lord through song, acting, and creative expression.  Each year, there are at least 2 opportunities (usually more!) for parents to see what their student has been working on in Music and Theater.  We have a Christmas Program in December, and a Spring Program in May to celebrate all God has taught our children, the confidence they have acquired, and to showcase curriculum-related projects they have been working on.
