School Committee
Chairperson: Jeremiah Benjamin
Holden Chapel Elder: Jim Bollivar
Members: Jim Arsenault, Tom Banyai, Jeremiah Benjamin, Nicola Cleveland, and David Coombs.
Secretary: Judy Bleau
The School Committee is a strategic body of school leaders who, on behalf of Holden Chapel, ensure that HCA is governed with biblically-based integrity and truthfulness in all methods and practices; operational excellence; fiscal responsibility; proactive planning; and in accordance with Holden Chapel’s Statement of Faith.
Only decisions of the Committee acting as a body, by majority vote, are binding. Although no one School Committee member may make a decision for the group, you are welcome to contact our School Committee chairman in order to request a meeting with the Committee. Parents may bring an issue to the School Committee for consideration only after the steps of the HCA Family Covenant are followed. Because of the confidential nature of the School Committee meetings, meetings are not open to non-members of the Committee.
